The book stays on your disk.

App data lives on your Windows computer.

Projects, chapters, notes, and world files are stored on your disk. There is no RaQuill cloud manuscript sync. We cannot read your book from our side.

A key check is not a manuscript upload.

To confirm a license, the app may contact a license server with a device id and a hash of the key. That check does not include your manuscript, notes, or world bible.

A local model stays with you. Anything else is your choice.

If you enable AI, RaQuill uses the providers and API keys you set. We do not run a hidden RaQuill AI cloud on your prose.

A local model stays on your computer. The prompt and the fragments you attach do not go to us.

If the model is not local, the prompt and any story data you send with it go wherever you pointed that provider. Whether that company uses the content to train models is their policy, not ours. You have to be aware of that and do your own research before you send a chapter to a remote API. RaQuill cannot promise what OpenAI, Anthropic, or any other vendor will do with a request you chose to make.

Lemon Squeezy processes the purchase.

If you buy a license, Lemon Squeezy is the merchant of record. Lemon collects payment and applicable VAT, and processes the payment data needed for checkout. We receive enough to know that a license was paid and to help you with the key. We do not store your full card number on our side.

A marketing site, not an account wall.

raquill.com (and its pages.dev preview) is a public site. Your browser will request pages and assets in the ordinary way. This draft does not add an analytics product name we have not chosen.
