These terms cover RaQuill, a local-first Windows desktop writing studio from Zen Monolith Studio. Checkout is not public yet; this page describes how a paid license will work when it is.

RaQuill is a local-first Windows desktop writing studio. Books stay on the author’s disk. There is no cloud manuscript sync. Optional AI is bring-your-own if you turn it on.

A personal key for one Windows device.
Paid access is a desktop license key. One device per key. Licenses are personal. You may not sell, lend, or share a key. To move RaQuill to another machine, deactivate the key on the old device, then activate it on the new one — or buy another seat.
Closed-beta and test keys already exist. They follow the same personal-use rule. Sharing, cracking, or bypassing a key is not allowed. We may revoke a key for abuse, fraud, or a clear breach of these terms.
Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, and Founder.
When checkout opens, paid access is planned as Pro Monthly, Pro Annual, and Founder (one-time). Payment will be taken by Lemon Squeezy, the merchant of record: Lemon collects the payment and applicable VAT. We do not take card data on raquill.com.
Cancel a subscription at any time. You keep the license until the paid period ends; it then does not renew. There is no refund after purchase. The refunds page states this in full.
Write with it. Do not crack it.
You may install RaQuill on the licensed Windows device and use it to write, plan, and export your own work. You may not reverse-engineer, crack, or redistribute the app or keys, or use RaQuill to harm others.
Manuscripts remain yours.
What you write in RaQuill is yours. We do not claim copyright in your books, notes, or world bible. Because the studio is local-first, the files live on your disk unless you choose to copy them somewhere else.

RaQuill can talk to AI providers you configure (local engines or a cloud key you bring). We do not warrant that any suggestion is accurate, original, or fit to publish. You decide what enters the manuscript.
The studio is provided as-is.
We work to keep RaQuill useful and careful with your files, but we do not promise uninterrupted service, error-free AI, or that a license check will always succeed. Keep your own backups. Nothing here limits rights that applicable consumer law does not allow us to limit.
